HKS celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the original Electronic Valve Controller
(EVC) with an all-new EVC boost controller model. The original EVC released
in 1987 was the first commercially available electronic boost controller,
and revolutionized the aftermarket industry. HKS 20 years and five
EVC generations of boost control knowledge has been harnessed into this
all-new EVC.
The new HKS EVC has improved boost stability for maintaining pressure
at high RPMs providing increased top-end power, and a new mapping feature
allows boost pressure to be precisely tuned for throttle + RPM (or vehicle
speed). The new EVC also offers a selectable kPa or PSI unit of measure,
and a unique warning feature where if over boosting occurs, boost pressure
can be programmed to drop to a user preset level. The new target boost
setting and volume knob with three button user interface makes setup and
tuning intuitive and simple. The design of the new EVC features a sleek
black case with a clear acrylic faceplate and a positive lit LCD display
offering a sophisticated look.
Features
High Boost Capability - 250kPa/36PSI
Target Boost -User inputs target boost level, and the EVC automatically
adjusts pressure to reach desired level.
Offset Function - If boost exceeds or does not achieve users
target, boost pressure can be offset to reach desired level.
Map Correction Mode - Boost pressure can be fine tuned for: Throttle
Position, RPM, Vehicle Speed, Throttle Position + RPM, or Throttle Position
+ Vehicle Speed.
Dual Boost Mode Settings - Separate A and B boost levels can be
input independently from each other, and selected depending on driving
conditions.
Scramble Boost Function - When the scramble boost trigger is depressed
a preset boost increase will occur for a predetermined time (0-60seconds).
External Scramble Boost Trigger compatible.
Metric or SAE selectable monitoring - Users can choose during initial
setup metric (kPa) or SAE (PSI) boost pressure measurement for monitoring.
Warning Function with Boost Drop Feature - A user preset warning
level can be set where visual and audible alerts occur if the warning
level is reached. Boost pressure can be preset to drop too a user defined
level if pressure reaches warning level.
Analog and Digital Boost Monitoring - Boost pressure can be displayed
in both an analog bar graph format and a digital numerical value.
Additional Digital Monitoring -Along with Boost Pressure two additional
vehicle vitals can be monitored: Throttle Position, Engine RPM or Vehicle
Speed.
Selectable Analog Monitoring - The digital bar graph can be set
to monitor: Boost Pressure, Throttle Position, Engine RPM or Vehicle Speed.
After Image Function - Users can set the EVC to display the highest
boost pressure reached for 3-seconds after the throttle has been released.
Peak Hold - The EVC will store to memory and keep displayed the
maximum boost achieved.
Data Lock - To prevent accidental data changes from occurring,
the EVC can be locked with a user defined four digit code.
Positive LCD display with LED Lighting - Black foreground with
white background and LED lighting provides excellent visibility during
both daytime and nighttime use.
Dimmer Function - Brightness of display can be adjusted for user
comfort.
Rear Mounted Wiring harness - For a clean and simple installation
the wiring harness connects to the back of the EVC unit.

Turbo Timers
Turbo Timers allow your vehicle to idle for a preset amount of time
after the ignition key has been removed. In turbocharged vehicles this
prevents hot oil in the engine from coking up in the lines which eventually
leads to premature turbo failure. Hard driving can raise engine oil
temperatures to dangerously high levels as the turbocharger generates
extreme temperatures. Proper cool down is essential for a healthy turbo
and engine. In normally aspirated cars, the Auto Timer can also be used
to warm/cool the inside of the car without having to sit inside. Most
turbo timers have additional features such as battery voltage display
and the e-brake safety feature which shuts off the car when the handbrake
is released without the ignition key.

it off helps extend the life of your turbo. However, most
of us simply dont have the time or patience to sit and wait
for the car to cool down.
The basic function of a turbo timer is to allow the vehicle
to idle the engine for a timed period, with the ignition key
removed. This allows the engine oil and turbo center cartridge
to cool down and prevent internal turbo damage.

HKS Twin Power DLI - Ignition Amplifier

The Twin Power ignition amplifier incorporates both the
CDI and transistor method ignition to provide optimum spark
duration and maximum voltage output, resulting in crisper
throttle response and a smoother engine powerband. The CDI
method, capacity discharge ignition, provides maximum voltage
by transferring all stored energy in the capacitor to the
ignition coil so that the ignition current can buildup quickly,
thus making the Twin Power very effective in the higher revs
where a normal spark would tend to diminish. |
This strong rapid spark prevents the high rpm ignition miss that
reduces peak power. The transistorized method generates high voltage
by using transistors to cut off current to the coil, thus allowing
for a long energy discharge. This longer spark duration allows the
Twin Power to improve lower RPM throttle response and torque. The
combination of the CDI and the transistor method incorporates two
distinct systems into one high performance unit, hence the designation
of Twin Power. The Twin Power produces a spark output that is typically
1.5-2.5 stronger than of the stock ignition system and consumes
about 35% less power input than other ignition amplifiers. Each
compact and attractive Twin power unit is constructed of durable
anodized aluminum and sealed to prevent corrosion from moisture.
General wiring harnesses are included in each unit to aid in installation
and mounting. Vehicle Specific wiring harnesses are also available
for certain models to further aid in installations that require
intricate integration.(CARB E.O. # D-186-22)
Dimensions: All Twin Power Units, except for DLI II, are 91mm
(L) x 80mm (W) x 34.5mm (H) and weighs Approximately 430g (~15.2oz)

The XS Engineering Power Pack is an ideal upgrade for anyone
who wants a compact and cost-effective way to maximize the
performance of their vehicles ignition system. High
revving, high-compression and turbocharged engines all require
a great deal of spark energy from the ignition system to run
properly. The higher the boost, the more spark energy required

The unit installs inline with the positive side of the coil(s) and
boosts the input voltage all the way to 20 volts! This
translates in to increased spark energy regardless if its
mated to a stock or aftermarket inductive ignition system. Also,
the need for and expense of multiple ignition boxes in multi-coil
applications is eliminated as Power Packs are designed to work with
single or multiple coils. With its state-of-the-art internal power
regulation, the Power Packs output remains at or near 20 volts
and up to 20 amps even when the input voltage dips below 12 volts
making it ideal for even racing applications where no alternator
is used. Another one of the Power Packs key advantages is
its compact size. Measuring only 3.5 x 4.5 x 1.5,
the compact Power Packs are a breeze to install even in the tightly
packed engine bays of todays cars. Furthermore, all Power
Packs are fully epoxy encapsulated to survive the toughest racing
environments.

GReddy BCC (boost cut controller)

GReddy BCC allows the factory ECU limiters to be eliminated.
This preset controller was designed and calibrated for a specific
application. The unit must be wired directly into the factory
ECU harness. While our new Speed Cut Controller eliminates
factory speed cut off for most Nissans and Toyotas. An added
feature for the SCC is it speed trigger feature that can be
used on future products. |

HKS Fuel Cut Defencer - vehicle

The HKS FCD is an electronic device developed to properly
raise the factory fuel cut level on factory turbocharged vehicles.
As modifications are made to optimize engine performance,
the factory fuel cut is often triggered by higher boost levels
which activate a fuel delivery cut-off as a failsafe procedure.
Symptoms of fuel cut
are hesitation, bogging, and/or illumination of diagnostic
indicators.
The electronic signal from the FCD will raise the fuel cut
level to accommodate for the additional boost without triggering
fuel cut and/or an engine diagnostic light.

The FCD installation is designed to be easily integrated with the
VPC/F-CON or factory ECU harness.
Warning: Due to the characteristics of this product, higher than
recommended or unsafe boost levels may be attained by the installation
and use of the FCD. This may result in severe damage to the vehicles
engine or other mechanical parts. We suggest a fuel delivery upgrade
and consulting a trained technician before the purchase and use
of the FCD.
