HKS celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the original Electronic Valve Controller (EVC) with an all-new EVC boost controller model. The original EVC released in 1987 was the first commercially available electronic boost controller, and revolutionized the aftermarket industry. HKS’ 20 years and five EVC generations of boost control knowledge has been harnessed into this all-new EVC.
The new HKS EVC has improved boost stability for maintaining pressure at high RPMs providing increased top-end power, and a new mapping feature allows boost pressure to be precisely tuned for throttle + RPM (or vehicle speed). The new EVC also offers a selectable kPa or PSI unit of measure, and a unique warning feature where if over boosting occurs, boost pressure can be programmed to drop to a user preset level. The new target boost setting and volume knob with three button user interface makes setup and tuning intuitive and simple. The design of the new EVC features a sleek black case with a clear acrylic faceplate and a positive lit LCD display offering a sophisticated look.

High Boost Capability - 250kPa/36PSI
Target Boost -User inputs target boost level, and the EVC automatically adjusts pressure to reach desired level.
Offset Function - If boost exceeds or does not achieve user’s target, boost pressure can be offset to reach desired level.
Map Correction Mode - Boost pressure can be fine tuned for: Throttle Position, RPM, Vehicle Speed, Throttle Position + RPM, or Throttle Position + Vehicle Speed.
Dual Boost Mode Settings - Separate A and B boost levels can be input independently from each other, and selected depending on driving conditions.
Scramble Boost Function - When the scramble boost trigger is depressed a preset boost increase will occur for a predetermined time (0-60seconds).
External Scramble Boost Trigger compatible.
Metric or SAE selectable monitoring - Users can choose during initial setup metric (kPa) or SAE (PSI) boost pressure measurement for monitoring.
Warning Function with Boost Drop Feature - A user preset warning level can be set where visual and audible alerts occur if the warning level is reached. Boost pressure can be preset to drop too a user defined level if pressure reaches warning level.
Analog and Digital Boost Monitoring - Boost pressure can be displayed in both an analog bar graph format and a digital numerical value.
Additional Digital Monitoring -Along with Boost Pressure two additional vehicle vitals can be monitored: Throttle Position, Engine RPM or Vehicle Speed.
Selectable Analog Monitoring - The digital bar graph can be set to monitor: Boost Pressure, Throttle Position, Engine RPM or Vehicle Speed.
After Image Function - Users can set the EVC to display the highest boost pressure reached for 3-seconds after the throttle has been released.
Peak Hold - The EVC will store to memory and keep displayed the maximum boost achieved.
Data Lock - To prevent accidental data changes from occurring, the EVC can be locked with a user defined four digit code.
Positive LCD display with LED Lighting - Black foreground with white background and LED lighting provides excellent visibility during both daytime and nighttime use.
Dimmer Function - Brightness of display can be adjusted for user comfort.
Rear Mounted Wiring harness - For a clean and simple installation the wiring harness connects to the back of the EVC unit.

Turbo Timers

Turbo Timers allow your vehicle to idle for a preset amount of time after the ignition key has been removed. In turbocharged vehicles this prevents hot oil in the engine from coking up in the lines which eventually leads to premature turbo failure. Hard driving can raise engine oil temperatures to dangerously high levels as the turbocharger generates extreme temperatures. Proper cool down is essential for a healthy turbo and engine. In normally aspirated cars, the Auto Timer can also be used to warm/cool the inside of the car without having to sit inside. Most turbo timers have additional features such as battery voltage display and the e-brake safety feature which shuts off the car when the handbrake is released without the ignition key.

The A'PEXi Auto Timer has a unique pen shap and compact size which makes it one of the smallest turbo timers on the market. This allows a clean and stylish installation virtually anywhere inside the car. The unique multi angle joystick button allows easy navigation through the many feature menus.
A Manual Mode allows the user to preset desired idling times from 0 sec.~10 minutes in 16 increments. By inputting O2 sensor voltage, the Timer can also display theoretical air fuel ratio. Since the Auto Timer uses the factory O2 sensor which is primarily designed for emissions, the readings may not be as accurate when the O2 sensor is cold. A'PEXi recommends that the O2 sensor readings be compared to a high grade "tuning" O2 sensor for comparison.

The Dual Solenoid Boost Controller Spec R (DSBC Spec R) has four programmable boost settings or various levels of boost. This unit features a built-in boost gauge, peak boost dis.play, four different boost settings, boost warning, scramble boost, and a boost limiter safety feature to prevent over boosting.

HKS Twin Power DLI - Ignition Amplifier (newest version)

The Twin Power ignition amplifier incorporates both the CDI and transistor method ignition to provide optimum spark duration and maximum voltage output, resulting in crisper throttle response and a smoother engine powerband. The CDI method, capacity discharge ignition, provides maximum voltage by transferring all stored energy in the capacitor to the ignition coil so that the ignition current can buildup quickly, thus making the Twin Power very effective in the higher revs where a normal spark would tend to diminish.
This strong rapid spark prevents the high rpm ignition miss that reduces peak power. The transistorized method generates high voltage by using transistors to cut off current to the coil, thus allowing for a long energy discharge. This longer spark duration allows the Twin Power to improve lower RPM throttle response and torque. The combination of the CDI and the transistor method incorporates two distinct systems into one high performance unit, hence the designation of Twin Power. The Twin Power produces a spark output that is typically 1.5-2.5 stronger than of the stock ignition system and consumes about 35% less power input than other ignition amplifiers. Each compact and attractive Twin power unit is constructed of durable anodized aluminum and sealed to prevent corrosion from moisture. General wiring harnesses are included in each unit to aid in installation and mounting. Vehicle Specific wiring harnesses are also available for certain models to further aid in installations that require intricate integration.(CARB E.O. # D-186-22)

The XS Engineering Power Pack is an ideal upgrade for anyone who wants a compact and cost-effective way to maximize the performance of their vehicle’s ignition system. High revving, high-compression and turbocharged engines all require a great deal of spark energy from the ignition system to run properly. The unit installs inline with the positive side of the coil(s) and “boosts” the input voltage all the way to 20 volts! HKS Fuel Cut Defencer - vehicle application list below



The HKS FCD is an electronic device developed to properly raise the factory fuel cut level on factory turbocharged vehicles. As modifications are made to optimize engine performance, the factory fuel cut is often triggered by higher boost levels which activate a fuel delivery cut-off as a failsafe procedure. Symptoms of fuel cut
are hesitation, bogging, and/or illumination of diagnostic indicators.
The electronic signal from the FCD will raise the fuel cut level to accommodate for the additional boost without triggering fuel cut and/or an engine diagnostic light.
The FCD installation is designed to be easily integrated with the VPC/F-CON or factory ECU harness.

Warning: Due to the characteristics of this product, higher than recommended or unsafe boost levels may be attained by the installation and use of the FCD. This may result in severe damage to the vehicles engine or other mechanical parts. We suggest a fuel delivery upgrade and consulting a trained technician before the purchase and use of the FCD.
