The LM-2 combines an air/fuel ratio meter, a full-function
32-channel datalogger, and powerful software to deliver a
complete tuning workshop for less than the cost of one dyno
day. Whether you have a piggy-back fuel controller, race carb,
aftermarket ECU, ODB-II tuning software, or a flash/chip programmer,
an LM-2 is the tool you need to dial in maximum HP. The meter’s
digital signal processing technology provides data on exactly
how rich or lean an engine is running at any load. The LM-2’s
self-calibrating circuitry also compensates for changes in
temperature, altitude, and sensor condition. |

The LM-2 also features two fully programmable linear analog outputs
to connect to analog gauges, dyno computers, ECUs, piggyback controllers,
and other devices with analog inputs. Analog output 1 comes setup
from the factory ready for narrowband simulation; analog output
2 is configured as 0 volt = 7.35 AFR and 5 volts = 22.39 AFR.
With the provided LM Programmer software these analog outputs
may also be configured by the user.

Tuning an engine for maximum power previously required long trial-and-error
sessions on a dynamometer. With the LM-1, precise AFR measurement
allows the user to correctly adjust many variables- including carburetor
jetting, fuel injection, turbo fuel curves, etc.- without long and
expensive dyno sessions. The meter’s digital signal processing
technology provides data on exactly how rich or lean an engine is
running at any load. The LM-1’s self-calibrating circuitry
also compensates for changes in temperature, altitude, and sensor
condition.
The instrument can sample and store the air-fuel-ratio and the other
sensor data internally in operation for later analysis on a personal
computer. At a sampling rate of 12 samples/second the instrument
can store up to 44 minutes worth of data in non-volatile memory.
The data can be downloaded to a personal computer using a standard
serial port and viewed/analyzed by the included software or any
standard spreadsheet program as seen in the picture above.
The Basic Kit includes: the Meter, a Bosch wide-band oxygen
sensor and cable, cigarette-lighter power adapter, serial cable
for PC connection, 9V battery, exhaust bung and plug, CD and manual.
Other kits are available with more functions.

The LC-1 is more accurate than conventional designs costing many
times as much, and its self-calibrating circuitry can compensate

APEXi DECS EL Tachometer
The new A'PEXi DECS Tachometer combines the classic RPM, warning,
and memory playback functions of the previous EL Tachometer with
the real time temperature and pressure display of an EL II Meter.
This completely redesigned unit uses the same EL (Electro-Luminescence)
technology as the original EL Tachometer. Looking to combine as
many aspects of engine monitoring into one unit as possible, A'PEXi
designed this new tach to employ the new DECS (Dynamic Electronic
Control System) technology. The DECS system integrates an optional
pressure or temperature sensor to display real time values in a
digital readout.
| Optional sensors that can be used in conjunction with the
DECS Tach include: Water Temp, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, and
Fuel Pressure. Temperature values can be displayed in Fahrenheit
or Centigrade. The DECS Tach also comes standard with a high

Identified by its "Mirror Face ¨, the MD (Mirror Drive) Racing
Meter features a Carbon or White face and Brushed aluminum bezel. The
face of the gauge is back-lit with LED light bulbs and the needle is lit
red. When the gague is off, the face disappears and your reflection can
be seen, hence the name Mirror. The MD Racing Meters are full electric
gauges and are available in Boost, oil/water Temperature, oil/water Pressure,
and Exhaust Temperature.

The all new HKS Chrono DB Meters are the latest in electrically linked
meter technology and are the first to feature a 3-Dimensional face. The
3-Dimensional face is designed after chronograph watch and offers easier
and more accurate visibility when viewed from different angles. Multiple
Chrono DB Meters can be "daisy-chained" together which allows
for less wiring and easier installation.
The Chrono DB Meter Interface (I/F) Unit is the hub where sensors connect
to the Chrono Meter harness. The I/F Unit is mounted in the engine compartment
so you only need to run one communication line through the firewall
to the actual Chrono DB Meters.
All Chrono DB Meters feature Warning, Peak hold, Playback, Simultaneous
Display and a Self-Diagnosis mode. These features are extremely valuable
when racing because they allow the driver to keep his or her focus on
the track. All Chrono DB Meters have a white Electro-Luminescent lighting
for exceptional night visibility. The EL lighting can be adjusted in
eight different settings for a driver’s preferred level. Chrono
DB Meters are available in either white face with black text or black
face with white text. The Chrono DB Meters have been designed to be
ultra lightweight and are offered with a 60mm (2.36’’) face
and are 23mm (0.91’’) thick.

Electronic Gauges
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND DEFI GAUGES!!!
DEFI gauges are quite simply the best gauges available for sport
compact enthusiasts. They may cost more than other brands BUT they
really are a worthwhile investment to monitor the status of your
engine. Since the gauges are all linked by a control unit, this
allows you to playback all of them at the same time. So it can provide
you with valueable data such as boost pressure at specific RPM or
even EGT at a specific boost pressure. Other gauge setups simply
playback an individual gauge one at a time. With the DEFI link setup,
you get much more!
The design of the Defi Link system allows each of the gauges to
be attached to the control unit with a single 'daisy chain' wiring
system. This allows all sensors to be attached to the control unit
so that the gauges can be mounted separately without the need for
multiple tubing or wiring to each of the gauges. Basically, the
next gauge will piggy back the previous gauge making wiring a snap.
Up to seven Defi-Link gauges can be controlled by a single control
unit. Memory plays back all gauges simultaneously. The Version 2
control unit also lights up for better visibililty at night.

This control unit is required for Defi-link gauges. One control
unit controls all DEFI Link or BF gauges. Features: Memory Playback,
Warning, Peak hold. Also newly add for version two is backlighting
so you can actually see the buttons at night.

DEFI BF series gauges

The Defi BF gauges offer the same great features as the Defi Link
series but with a great new look. When the ignition is off, the
gauges are blacked out but once they are triggered on, they illuminate
with a bright white backlight as shown in this image:

Each gauge has two LEDs. One LED illuminates when the gauge indicator
exceeds a warning level that can be preset with the Control Unit
II. The other LED illuminates when the gauge indicator exceeds a
maximum level.
