Quick reference wiring for aftermarket sensors with AEM
EMS
for 1993-98 Toyota Supra turbo (2JZ-GTE)
AEM MAP SENSOR WIRING:
wiring at the ECU:
RED aem sensor wire to pin B-41 - (5 volt reference source)
BLACK aem sensor wire to pin B-65 - (sensor ground)
GREEN aem sensor wire to pin B-62 - (map sensor signal input)
note: colors may vary on sensors so always refer to your sensor instructions
and always trace the wires back to the ECM to make sure you are connecting
them to the correct wires.
AEM IAT SENSOR WIRING:
The IAT Sensor has 2 wires, there is no polarity on the sensor so it
does not matter which wire you use for the signal source.
EASY WAY:
You can tap into the 2 existing sensor wires from your MAF sensor plug
that is no longer being used.
PIN#3 on your MAF PLUG (PINK/BLUE)
PIN#4 on your MAF PLUG (BROWN/BLACK)
note: colors may vary on different years but these are the standard
colors. Make sure to trace them back to the ECM to verify that these
are the correct wires.
BETTER WAY:
Sometimes, the signal at the maf plug is inconsistent. So we recommend
tapping the singal wires at the ECM to ensure a good signal.
At the ECU, you can tap these 2 wires for IAT sensor wires:
ECU pin B-45 - (Air temperature sensor)
ECU pin B-65 - (Sensor ground)
